Walking Tour of the Lovingston Historic District
A walking tour of Lovingston, Virginia explores a charming 19th century county seat featuring historic homes, the courthouse and local shops along Front Street. This pedestrian-friendly, 1.5-mile self-guided tour takes about 1.5 hours, covering historic architecture, a local LOVE sign and spots like the Bright Hope Baptist Church.
Walk along Front Street to see architecture spanning from 1809–1925, including the Lovingston Historic District's original 49 lots.
